Social Empowerment
The organization creates enabling environment for women to achieve their potentials as well as build their capacity to resist and dismantle structures and processes that encourage injustice and discrimination against them. We organize forum where stakeholders, opinion leaders and members of the civil society meet regularly to dissect and address burning social issues.

Health Empowerment
Health promotion is one of MEPI’s key poverty reduction strategies. The organization improves public health and education with special focus on maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, malaria and other tropical diseases and recently sensitization on Ebola diseases.

Agriculture and Food Security
MEPI addresses challenges limiting farmer’s productivity and income such as inadequate information on improved inputs, low capacity and non-availability of inputs for improved farm yield. It undertakes agricultural extension services and farm enterprise training to promote the use of efficient farming techniques for improved yield. Rural farmers are also provided credit facilities towards making them self-sufficient in food production.

About Us
Mackings Empowerment Initiative (MEPI) is a non-governmental organization committed to the social, health and economic empowerment of the poor and vulnerable in Nigeria. was founded by Mr Kingsley Obi in 2014 towards the vision of eradicating and alleviating poverty in Nigeria especially among women and children.
As at today, MEPI through hard work, dedication and commitment we have spread across five four States in Nigeria (Lagos, Ogun, Imo and Rivers) with over five branches and still counting…
Mackings Empowerment Initiative is dedicated to poverty eradication and alleviation towards promoting the economic and social empowerment of women through formation of self managed and self sustaining groups. MEPI provides soft loan with low or no interest rate to empower and support their businesses, also provides training to groups participants in book keeping, savings culture, lending, savings and entrepreneurship development.
